More often than necessary. I’ve not kept count.
How important is digital media in your business and personal life?
Very important. Social media is free and its been very effective in generating leads for my business.

How has digital media enhanced your business?
Its one of the ways that I promote my business and connect with prospects and partners. I rely very heavily on digital media and cannot phathom where I would be without it.
Do you use digital media to support your chosen charity?
Yes. I run a half marathon for FORWARD UK in 2012. I used social media to raise funds in support of a Child mother project in Tanzania. It was all done online.
How long have you run your business and what is your role?
I’ve been running my own business since 2010 years. I’m the founder and my role is to grow a business that is the number one choice for women (and smart men) who want to build businesses that are financially sound whilst living a life they love.
Do you use social media to interact with your family or friends?
Yes. Facebook seems to work better for my family and close friends as they are all over the world.
What do you use social media for mainly work or play?
I use social media mainly for work. I do make an effort to get personal on it sometimes but its mainly business and connecting with some like minded people.
How do you use social media for business, social interaction, fun, or current affairs?
For business, I share useful practical content with people on how to build a cash-rich and profitable business. Creating useful and valuable content is at the heart of what I do. When my content resonates with prospects, they get in touch and we take it from there.
Do you share your social media updates across all platforms?
No I don’t share the same updates. All the platforms are different and work well with different audiences so I only share an update to a platform if I feel it fits with my goal for being on that platform.
Do you have two social media profiles? One for business and one for personal use?
I have two accounts on some platforms. Its convenient when I recruit other people to manage the businesses social media.
What topics of interest do you follow via digital media?
Entrepreneurs, business, personal development, marketing – I’m quite boring in that sense.
Do you use Skype or Face Time?
Yes I use both. For business and pleasure.
Do you use Social media on your mobile phone?
Yes I have twitter installed. I had to uninstalld the others because the notifications where distracting. I love twitter so I guess I’m biased towards its use.
How important is digital media to your business or personal life?
Very important. It keeps my connected to the world. I have met a lot of wonderful people via social media especially twitter and it brings a certain amount of spontaneity to connecting with people that may usually be outside of your usual circle.
Do you buy or read magazines, journals or newspapers online?
No. I still buy them off the rack. I have the e-readers but I love the feel of printed books so I still buy them anyway.
Do you book your holidays online or go to a travel agent?
It’s a mix depending on where we think we’d get the best deal. The last holiday was booked online but the one before that was through an agent.
How much of your business and professional life is conducted online?
Aspects of my business are delivered virtually because I have clients spread all over the UK and a few internationally. The internet makes it possible to work with people outside your geographic area which is brilliant.
Do you read and use social media when on vacation?
No social media when on vacation. I’m afraid. Vacations for me ,are a time to switch off and be present with the people I’m with. Its very hard to do that with this constant need to keep updating your “virtual” friends of what you are up to. I may use it briefly but the goal is certainly not to.
