How important is digital media in your business and personal life? Extremely important, personally it allows me to connect with people and for promoting our football talk show Pitch Talk it has been crucial in helping us get more fans and people interacting with the show.

How has digital media enhanced your business? It has enhanced our show Pitch Talk by allowing us to reach more people that otherwise we may not have been able to reach from America, Africa & even here in England.

How long have you run your business and what is your role? The Pitch Talk shows have been running for just over 2 and a half years (Started in June 2010) and I am a co-host of the Live shows as well as the editor of all of the video material we do.

 

Do you use social media to interact with your family or friends? Yes, all the time, it’s an easier way to keep in contact.

 

What do you use social media for mainly work or play? A combination of both as I use it for background research as well as growing my networks and keeping in contact with people.

 

How do you use social media for business, social interaction, fun, or current affairs? I use it to keep tabs on all of those areas, especially for research for shows and we try to keep an eye on what is trending in our world in terms of Pitch Talk as football moves very quickly.

 

Do you share your social media updates across all platforms? Yes, especially with Pitch Talk as we are trying to reach a global audience to grow our show and brand.

 

Do you have two social media profiles? One for business and one for personal use? 

If yes, why? I do and the reason being is because I feel you do have to keep a degree of separation between business and personal life. On the other side with Pitch Talk I am 1 of 3 co-hosts so we have a social media presence for that, plus I have my own as I’m very opinionated and I have one for my video production professional incarnation as LJA Productions.

 

What topics of interest do you follow via digital media? Football, news, social goings on within my circle of friends, music

Do you use Social media on your mobile phone? Yes, I have twitter & facebook apps on my smartphone

How important is digital media to your business or personal life? It’s very important, it not only allows us to reach and promote to new people, but it allows us to maintain dialogue with people we already know as well. It’s helped us to grow and hopefully will continue to help us do so.

Do you buy or read magazines, journals or newspapers online? I don’t, I only read articles online, mostly for research for our weekly Pitch Talk shows

Do you book your holidays online or go to a travel agent? I haven’t yet

How much of your business and professional life is conducted online? I’d say probably about 80%

Do you read and use social media when on vacation? I have done, mainly to keep tabs on football goings on
