I am active on Twitter, FB and Pinterest although pink ribbon lingerie does have an Instagram account its doesn’t really work for the business. We also have a blog www.pinkribbonlingerie.net

How often do you check your social media platforms? Daily.

How important is digital media in your business and personal life?

For business it is a great way to engage directly with customers especially internationally.

Do you use digital media to support your chosen charity?

Yes we RT messages about them.

How long have you run your business and what is your role?

I began trading in September 2010. I am the founder, I work 1 day a week in the business and have a member of staff that does the day to day running. Although I run the social media for the business from my phone. I use hootesuite for twitter 80% of the time, but post in FB directly.

Do you use social media to interact with your family or friends?

Not close friends (twitter) as we talk, but I do use twitter to contact people l know and I don’t follow any family members. I use facebook for friends, but don’t use my personal very often.

What do you use social media for mainly work or play?

Both at different times. Work hours mainly for business and out of work hours for personal.

How do you use social media for business, social interaction, fun, or current affairs?

Because I have personal accounts on twitter and facebook I do use social media with friends. I follow business related feeds for @mcjconsultancy and news related for @pnkrbbnlingerie for example daily mail have a health twitter account.

Do you share your social media updates across all platforms?

No for business I try to give different information across them. Or the same information at different times of the day.

Do you have two social media profiles?

One for business and one for personal use?  Yes 4 please see breakdown above.
If yes, why? Yes I like to keep them separate as there are times I don’t want my business head on, also I’m not sure if everyone would like my football related tweets.

What topics of interest do you follow via digital media?

Sports, football, Xfactor commentary (makes is more fun to follow)

Do you use Skype or Face Time?

Only for my work as a business counsellor as this Skype is a method we have meetings with our clients.

Do you use Social media on your mobile phone?

Yes, 80% of the time I use it via a mobile devise.

How important is digital media to your business or personal life?

Very important, we use it to target a younger audience and a lot of our competitors are not as up to speed as us.

Do you buy or read magazines, journals or newspapers online?

Rarely, but if there is a good article I have used then I will search for it online.

Do you book your holidays online or go to a travel agent? Online

How much of your business and professional life is conducted online? Probably too much. Maybe 2 hours day possibly more.

Do you read and use social media when on vacation?

Only in the hotel room with wifi to keep up to speed but never on the beach.
